Getting your Captic system up and running is easy. Here’s a step-by-step guide to ensure a smooth start.

## First Steps for Every Captic System

* **Know What You’re Getting**

* **Do the Prep Work** 
  * Review the [Required Preparation](/docs/overview/hands-on/required-preparation.md) checklist to get your network and power supply ready.
* **Install the System** 
  * Follow the steps in the [Physical Install](/docs/your-captic-system/physical-install.md) section to connect everything.
* **Run the Quickstart** 
  * Complete the setup using the [Quickstart Guide](/docs/getting-started/quickstart.md).
