# Captic for Robotics

The Captic Vision system can be used to make Robots smarter for many applications. A few of our standard ones are:

* Depalletizing random cardboard boxes
* Depalletizing random bags
* Pick and place of variable products
* ...

But we've seen integrators build many cool systems.

Do you have an idea but are you unsure if it would work? Send us a quick email and we'd love to have chat to see if it's feasible.

## How Captic makes Smart Robots easy

There are two big wins for any robot integrator to use a Captic system:

* AI-powered Vision without the complexity
* \[Optional] Done-for you robot programming

{% hint style="info" %}
Don't want to spend time programming the robot? Did you know that our Captic system can also steer the robot? Making use of this is optional, but it can be a great way to save time on projects or to get started with installing robots.

Working with any of our Captic systems is easy; In general it always follows the same approach:

1. The camera is triggerd
2. The image is processed
3. The results are communicated to the robot
4. The robot acts on the result
