# Welcome

Captic builds AI vision systems that automate hard-to-fill jobs on the production line. These docs cover installing, configuring and integrating your Captic system.

## One platform, specific products

Every Captic product is built on the same **Captic platform**: the same hardware approach, web interface, integration flow, calibration tools and security model. On top of that platform we build **products** for specific applications.

The docs follow the same split:

* [**Platform**](/docs/overview.md) covers everything the products share: installation, the web interface, calibration, integrations with PLCs and robots, and network and security.
* **Product sections** cover only what is specific to that product, and link back to the platform pages for the shared parts.

If you're setting up a system, start with the [Quickstart](/docs/getting-started/quickstart.md), then continue in your product's section.
